Paper recycling committee continues its work

Lower Elementary's Paper and Plastic Committee went to sell the paper and plastic they had collected.

They made Rs 267/-. They learned that had  they arranged the paper properly they could have got more.. That guy segregated and considered all the crushed paper  as waste.

They did Maths at the shop.

They asked questions like "Why are you not taking these papers?" "Why are you segregating?" "How much per kg costs?" "Where do the waste go?"

They checked weight and calculated the amount also.

Paperman told that next time if we take crushed paper he will give only 2 rupees for per kg whereas we got 8 rupees today.
So, our kids have been discussing that next time we should not dump the papers into the bin.

Organic Terrace Garden yields

With the recent rains, the students' Organic Terrace Garden just blossomed.

So much yield MashaAllah -fenugreek, mixed greens and spinach.

Kids are totally thrilled. Lower Elementary met and decided to sell their produce. They plan to use the money - 25% for charity and 75% to buy storybooks for Elementary inshaAllah
